Sneaker Con

April 18, 2015

Sneaker Con, the greatest sneaker show on earth, is coming to Washington, DC. On April 18th, the premier traveling event for sneaker connoisseurs to buy, sell and trade exclusive footwear, will be right here in the DMV area. An exciting addition to our local events calendar, the convention is sure to be a hot commodity as it will only be on town for a single day.

The massive happening is set to take place at the DC Armory for the first time ever. This premier venue and convention space features over 80,000 square feet of space, which is ideal for the geniuses behind Sneaker Con to adequately display the hottest kicks around. Sneaker Con will open its doors at 12pm and visitors should be sure to make it to the armory on time, as the event is known to draw an impressive crowd.

Sneaker Con will host more than 250 vendors peddling the most progressive and sought after sneakers in the world. Other convention trademarks like the Ace of Customs, Sneaker Con Authenticated, and the Sneaker Con Trading Pit will also be available for all guests to use. Tickets are available now for purchase on Ticketmaster, but be sure to grab your them fast, as they’re being bought up like groceries before a blizzard.

The DC Armory is just a twenty-minute drive from The Graham Hotel in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. While parking is available, guests can also leave their cars behind, as the DC Armory is easily accessible by public transportation. The landmark arena is home to the DC National Guard  and host to year-round events ranging in size from 10 to 10,000 attendees.

With the fresh air of spring emanating throughout town, it will be a beautiful time to grab a new pair of shoes and stroll about the city. After spending the day at the greatest sneaker show on earth, be sure to head back to The Graham and enjoy a well-deserved cocktail at our rooftop bar, The Observatory DC.
