An enormous bar crawl, costume contest and all around good times are what makes the Nightmare on M Street one of the signature Halloween events in D.C. Don’t miss out on the fun on Saturday October 25. The event lasts from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. at over 30 local bars, making this the largest roaming costume party on the east coast! Each of the participating bars is offering drink specials and there is no cover at participating bars all night long. To register, purchase your ticket online in advance and then check in the night of at any of the participating check-in locations: The Front Page (1333 New Hampshire Ave. NW), The Exchange Saloon (1717 G. Street NW), McFadden’s ( 2401 Pennsylvania Ave. NW), The Greene Turtle (601 F. Street.). Tickets start at $15 and go up to $40 the week of the event so be sure to book early. If you’re confident your costume is a winner, enter the midnight costume contest at McFadden’s. The winner takes home a $150 cash prize for the best overall costume and $150 for the best Captain Morgan inspired costume.
Can’t make Nightmare on M Street? Then don’t miss the Graham Georgetown’s annual Halloween party. For $100, (inclusive of taxes and gratuity) enjoy a 2 hour open bar on the Graham Witch’s Brew (our version of a fun Halloween drink) from 8-10pm and a costume contest as well.
