New Year's Eve in Washington DC

If you are ringing in 2015 in the Nation’s Capital, our guide to New Year’s in Washington D.C. should help you navigate the wide variety of events in the city. If you’re looking for an excuse to get gussied up for an evening out, you don’t want to miss the Red Carpet Affair at Arena Stage (1101 6th St. SW). This all-inclusive gala offers a five-hour open bar, dinner buffet, champagne toast and party favors for ticket prices starting at $ 125. Ring in your New Year on a boat cruise on the Potomac River. The Odyssey is offering a New Year’s Eve dinner cruise and a New Year’s Day Brunch cruise. The New Year’s dinner cruise departs at 8:00 p.m. and includes dinner, a dessert buffet, a premium bar package, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Don’t want to just stay at one bar to ring in 2015? We recommend a bar crawl! The New Year’s Eve Ball Crawl stops at well-known bars including Bread & Brew (1247 20th Street NW ), Bier Baron (1523 22nd Street NW), Thomas Foolery (2029 P Street), Buffalo Billiards (1330 19th Street NW) and Fiesta Restaurant & Lounge (1327 Connecticut Avenue). Looking for a clubbier scene? Then head to Eden’s 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland party. Eden (1716 I St. NW) has been a long standing staple in the D.C. club scene. The New Year’s Eve bash kicks off at 8 p.m. with a premium two-hour open bar.

Looking for something to do on New Year’s Day? Toast to 2015 on New Year’s Day over brunch. Enjoy live entertainment and brunch fare on The Odyssey. This cruise departs at 12 p.m. on New Year ’s Day.

Temporary Hotel Closure Due to COVID-19

As a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the hospitality industry is experiencing an impact to business that will cause The Graham Georgetown to temporarily suspend hotel operations as of March 27, 2020. This is a temporary measure that is reflective of the current business environment. This decision is not a result of illness or confirmed cases at the hotel.

We are in the process of supporting Team Members through the transition and notifying guests. Any guests with questions regarding upcoming reservations are encouraged to contact Hilton Reservations and Customer Care for assistance. We plan to fully restore operations at our hotel by September 15, 2020, and look forward to welcoming our guests and Team Members back as soon as possible. We can’t wait to resume our place in the Georgetown community!
