This fantastical Roald Dahl story follows a young girl whose genius and telekinetic powers were at one time only fit for the boundless imagination of literature. In 1996, however, Danny DeVito brought the brilliant tale to the big screen with an exceptional film that went on to inspire Dennis Kelly’s Tony-winning musical of the same name. Now on the road and headed for the Opera House at DC’s John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Matilda the Musical is making waves in the theater community.
To head to the show and watch Matilda and Miss Honey battle the notorious Miss Trunchbull, check out the tour website here.
