Adam Levine and Grammy Award-winning Maroon 5 perform in the heart of Washington DC this March. For those less familiar with the band, this wildly popular pop/rock group from Los Angeles has captivated audiences for longer than a decade.
The band’s most recent release, V, released in August 2014, debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 and continues to garner attention as the band tours the United States. Major hit songs from the album — including “Animals” and “Sugar” — have received widespread acclaim, maintaining the group’s reputation as a force on the Billboard charts and radio.
Traveling through all of the major arenas and venues in culturally prevalent cities such as Dallas, Houston, Nashville, New York City, and others, Maroon 5’s prolific touring schedule reflects the band’s widespread popularity. The band Magic! is serving as Maroon 5’s opening act in Washington DC. The Canadian reggae fusion band provides the perfect mix of relaxation and poppy glitz to get fans in the perfect headspace for a Maroon 5 set.
In addition to our excitement for Maroon 5’s 2015 U.S. tour to visit Washington DC, we are also elated to have it at the one-and-only Verizon Center. The home court for the Washington Wizards and Georgetown Hoyas men’s basketball team and the home rink of the Washington Capitals, this is the center for large-scale events in Washington DC. In addition to Maroon 5, the Verizon Center excitedly awaits a run of Ringling Brothers Circus shows and a Neil Diamond concert in the month of March. With a killer band in an equally impressive arena, there’s really nothing to complain about on our end.
The Verizon Center is located within minutes of Graham Georgetown hotel. Our hotel near the Verizon Center features a collection of carefully curated rooms and suites, each outfitted with an array of amenities that cater to long and short stays alike.
