Then you definitely want to check out the Fashion Industry Networking party on Thursday September 25 at 6:00 p.m. at Dirty Martini (1223 Connecticut Ave. NW). On Sunday September 28 is the 21st International Couture Collection Fashion Show at the Historical Society of Washington (801 K St. NW) this finale event is not to be missed and is a great opportunity to check out the couture collections of many new and emerging designers.
DC Fashion Week is a fantastic platform for many emerging designers to gain a following. Noteworthy emerging designers include Neos District and Underground Market Clothing Company. Neos District offers a refreshing viewpoint as their brand philosophy is that fashion should “simply provide clothing with a meaning with ease on design.” We couldn’t agree more! The Underground Marketing Clothing Company is a luxury street brand for the masses. Their aesthetic is modern, hip with a bit of edge — isn’t that what we all want in our clothing?
